Quickly and reliably supported by MT 60 shoring towers
The Hungarian construction company LupEx kft. based in Paks specialises, among other things, on the construction of wildlife crossings. The photos show the construction of this type of green bridge over the new M6 motorway in the south of Hungary. The construction company relied on the modular MT 60 shoring tower to support the concrete slab. It enables flexible and economical working practices on the construction site and ensures safety even at great heights.
First of all, MT 60 elements were placed next to and around the pre-poured columns and then extended outwards from the middle of the bridge. The tower could be quickly assembled without a crane or tools and relocated as a complete unit on rollers. Using head and base spindles, the towers could be set to any height as required. This enabled the supports for the concreting work to be prepared in a short space of time and the structure completed within the planned time frame.
