Nothing beats doing it yourself

Safe and comfortable working

In the bustling heart of the up-and-coming Philippine metropolis of Cebu City, the shell of a 20F mixed-use commercial building has been completed on time.

A technical masterpiece

The Danish island of Lolland and the German island of Fehmarn in the Baltic Sea are separated by the Fehmarn Belt strait. Yet, the countries are now set to be connected by a 18.1 km long underwater tunnel. While the Femern Link Contractors (FLC) consortium is responsible for overall construction, MEVA is heavily involved in the megaproject through providing products and services.

One floor per week

The impressive skyline of Dubai has been enriched by a 358 m high skyscraper. MEVA climbing systems and formwork made an important contribution in keeping to the tight schedule in the construction of City Tower One, with office space and 600 residential units on 93 floors.

A Solitaire in Pune

A modern office complex with 32 floors and a standard height of 3.6 metres per floor has been built in the western Indian metropolis of Pune. The Solitaire Business Hub 3 high-rise project has a total floor space of 53,000 m².

Almost 14 meters in one fell swoop

In Unterengstringen near Zurich a new sorting and recycling plant for PET beverage bottles will start operating shortly. The walls, including freestanding, almost 22 m high and 55 cm thick walls, were constructed in a short space of time to a high level of quality.

Attractive bridge piers

In the south of Hungary the last gap on the M6 motorway is being closed. The centrepiece of the 20 km long section between Bóly and Ivándárda on the border with Croatia is a viaduct over the Majsi river. The uniquely designed support structure was realised according to plan using technical solutions provided by MEVA.

Harmonious “Dreiklang” in Aarau

Marti AG Zürich is extending the hospital complex in the capital of the eponymous canton in Aarau through the construction of an extensive replacement building involving systematic use of BIM. MEVA delivered the wall formwork including safety system as well as pre-assembled shaft platforms for the cores.

In the Skies above Manc-hattan

An increasing number of skyscrapers are dominating the skyline in the English city of Manchester. The region’s leading property developer, Renaker Build Ltd, which has already built more than 6,000 new apartments, is primarily responsible for the striking change to the urban landscape.

Joint and tie hole pattern in focus

The formwork planning for two new buildings at the OWL University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Lemgo, Germany was a challenge. However, the result speaks for itself: The buildings shine forth in excellent concrete quality to the full satisfaction of the principal and the architect.
