History Meets Formwork at Columbus North Market
Columbus North Market‘s history of expansion can be traced back to 1876. Now, the city is about to welcome a new landmark with the construction of The Merchant Building. The 32-story, $345-million development is situated next to this historic market at 59 Spruce St. This ambitious project, set to redefine the cityscape, will incorporate hotel rooms, office spaces, stores, and an expansion of the iconic North Market.
Linden Bypass Bridge
Alabama’s Linden Bypass project, a crucial part of the West Alabama Corridor under the Rebuild Alabama Act, promises to reshape the region’s infrastructure. The $758 million initiative, announced by Governor Kay Ivey in 2021, marks a historic step toward enhancing U.S. Highway 43 from Tuscaloosa to Mobile.

Challenges of a road construction project mastered safely
The Ruhlin Company, founded by John G. Ruhlin, has been an integral part of the commercial and industrial market in Northeast Ohio since 1915. The company expanded into the civil market in 1955, constructing bridges, roads, sewers, and wastewater treatment facilities throughout the State of Ohio. In 2006, the Structural Division was added to complement the Heavy Division.
