Optimum water management

Over the past three years, MEVA has invested millions in Plant 2. The heart of the rental formwork business at the Haiterbach site had reached its technical and logistical limits. The modernization measures and modifications during ongoing operations have been successfully completed. The effort has paid off: more than 100,000 m² of formwork elements per year are delivered here after construction site work, checked, thoroughly cleaned and regenerated as required.

The modern cleaning line has replaced a system that was over 20 years old. It has an intelligently controlled six-sided high-pressure cleaning system and enables consistently high cleaning quality with optimum water and energy management. A 17 m long repair area for alkus panels and the water-guided grinding system complete the sustainable cleaning line. The processes are flexible and efficient, and resource consumption is significantly reduced. The energy required to run the plant is largely provided by green electricity: The photovoltaic system on the hall roof supports MEVA’s path to sustainability and resource conservation.
