Almost 14 meters in one fell swoop
Attractive bridge piers
In the south of Hungary the last gap on the M6 motorway is being closed. The centrepiece of the 20 km long section between Bóly and Ivándárda on the border with Croatia is a viaduct over the Majsi river. The uniquely designed support structure was realised according to plan using technical solutions provided by MEVA.
Harmonious “Dreiklang” in Aarau
Marti AG Zürich is extending the hospital complex in the capital of the eponymous canton in Aarau through the construction of an extensive replacement building involving systematic use of BIM. MEVA delivered the wall formwork including safety system as well as pre-assembled shaft platforms for the cores.
In the Skies above Manc-hattan
An increasing number of skyscrapers are dominating the skyline in the English city of Manchester. The region’s leading property developer, Renaker Build Ltd, which has already built more than 6,000 new apartments, is primarily responsible for the striking change to the urban landscape.
Joint and tie hole pattern in focus
The formwork planning for two new buildings at the OWL University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Lemgo, Germany was a challenge. However, the result speaks for itself: The buildings shine forth in excellent concrete quality to the full satisfaction of the principal and the architect.
Over the roofs of Lisbon
All expectations reliably fulfilled
In the Swiss town of Baden twelve single-family terraced houses are being built. Hächler AG Hoch- und Tiefbau created each large-format party wall between the individual houses in a single cycle. The result meets the concrete surface quality required by the principle as well as the architects’ and the construction company’s expectations.
New living space in Stockport
An exciting new development in Stockport, England, comprises two residential buildings with 202 apartments for the private rental sector. The Springmount Mill apartments are named after a mill that once stood on the site. The construction company is using MEVA formwork technology for the first time.
One happily takes a look underneath
St. Alban is the green district of Basel and one of its most beautiful neighbourhoods. So why build a footbridge here of all places only on the basis of practical criteria? To produce a new crossing point, money was invested in extraordinary design and architectural concrete. This paid off.
Residential complex Handelskai 214A
On construction sites in the middle of large cities there is often an acute shortage of space, and only a fraction of the construction area is available for storage purposes. Optimum logistics and low material requirements are thus prerequisites for the successful realisation of projects. During the construction of a residential complex in Vienna, the MevaDec slab formwork made an important contribution to fulfilling these.
Time savings on 155,000 m²
In Tournai, Belgium, a modern hospital complex is being built: the extension of the Centre Hospitalier de Wallonie picarde (CHwapi). With MevaDec, MEP and MT 60 systems, 155,000 m² of slab area, distributed over ten storeys, are being concreted quickly.
An architectural masterpiece
